About Millcreek
Millcreek of Arkansas was founded in 1988 in response to the overwhelming need for services for emotionally disturbed and developmentally disabled children and adolescents in Arkansas. Since that time, we have provided quality care for the children of Arkansas, serving developmentally disabled children & adolescents in a 61 bed Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICF-MR) and severely emotionally disturbed children & adolescents in a 111 bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). Millcreek is a owned subsidiary of Acadia Healthcare, based in Franklin, TN.

Populations Served:
Millcreek is a privately licensed Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICF/MR), Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) and Special Education School for child and adolescents age 6-21 years all over the state of Arkansas.

Types of Programs:

» ICF/MR - This program serves children with mental retardation and emotional or behavioral disturbance.

» PRTF - This program is a highly structured therapeutic environment for children and adolescents who are in need of long term, intensive services to effectively treat severe emotional and behavioral disturbances. Services are guided by a child and adolescents psychiatrist. Most individuals are referred following the receipt of outpatient treatment or stabilization in an acute care setting.
